Dee, the Magic Kite

“Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

One peaceful morning, I was running in the park.

I was so happy, and jolly until, tripped on something. “Ah! What did I trip on?” I said. There was something sticking out of the ground. I dug it up, and discovered that it was a kite. “A dragon kite!” I said to myself. I wanted to play with it, but it was in bad condition. I took it to my house and fixed it up. I knew it was going to look great.

After I was done fixing the kite, it looked good as new. I took the kite back to the park to play with it. It flew perfectly, and I played with it almost all morning long. That was until it fell in a puddle of water. “Oh, no! Now it’s all wet.” I said. As I reached down to pick the kite up, it started sparkling, and the eyes

BLINKED!

“Ah! Who are you?” The kite asked in a

solemn voice.

“But …how…kite…talk…da…kkk…

kites can’t talk.” I was stunned and picked it up. “You can’t talk. You’re just a kite. This impossible!”

“Well, Mr. Know-it-all, F.Y.I, I’m a magical kite,

and I can do just about anything. I can double in size.

I can spread world peace. I can even fly up to 1,000

feet high, but only if you fly me correctly.”

“Wow! That’s amazing! Who ever knew that was possible!” I said with amassment.

“Now you have given me the power to talk. I’m Soy-Ye-Shon, an ancient magical kite.” He continued. “I was shipped here from Japan, and my creator is May-So. I was bought by a little kid, and one day he played with me, and broke me, leaving me in this very same park for all these years. Now that you know a little bit about me , what’s your name?”

“Oh, my name is R’Jai. I’m the person who dug, and fixed you up.”

“Why ,thank you, he said.

“So ,Soy-Ye-Shon, how about I give you a nick name instead of using your longer name?”

“Okay go for it, he said.”

“Okay, how about…Dee for dragon, I

said.”

“I like it!” replied Dee happily.

“So Dee,” I asked. “What do you want to do?”

“Well how about I take you on an adventure for the rest of the day?”

“Well, where?” I asked.

“To Japan!” he said.

“Can you really do that?” I asked.

“Sure!” He said.

“Well, you can fly, but how am I going to get there?”

“I can double in size remember.” In a flash, Dee doubled to the size of a speed boat.

“Wow!” I said with amassment.

“Now I can carry you. Are you ready R’Jai?” “Yeah!” I shouted.

“Okay, then in 3,2,1! Hang on R’Jai!” Dee shouted!”

SWUSH!!! Off R’Jai, and Dee went to Japan. “Wow, we are up so high!” I said excitedly.

“That factory looks like a little toy block.” IYRN…

“Dee, you sound like an airplane getting ready to land.”

“Really, cool. Well we’re here.” Stated Dee.

“Wow! So this is Japan.” I said.

“Sure is.” replied Dee. “They have everything here. They have food, arts and crafts, even entertainment. Do you want to meet my creator May-So?” Dee asked.

“Well, okay.” I said.

“Come on she lives right around this corner.” DING -DONG, DING- DONG, the doorbell rang. AINK! The squeaky door opened.

“Yes? Oh, So-Ye-Shon! It’s nice of you to drop by please, please some in!” said May-So excitedly. “Who is this? asked May-So.

“Oh, May-So meet R’Jai. R’Jai meet May-So. “Please to meet you R’Jai. said May-So.

“Same here.” I responded.

“So, Soy-Ye-Shon ,what made you want to come,

and visit all of a sudden?” asked May-So.

“Well I wanted to show R’Jai where it all happened.” Dee answered.

“Ah…Um…R’Jai! May I speak with Soy-Ye-Shon in private?” May-So asked suspiciously?”

“Ah ,Sure.” I knew something was up, so I eavesdropped on their conversation.

I heard May-so saying, “Soy-Ye-Shon, you know how you always wanted to play in a movie and be a star? Well, I got a call from my uncle Myro, and I told him how good you were. He’s willing to make you the star of his new upcoming movie.”

“What!” I whispered to myself.

“But if you take the job you and R’Jai will have to say good-bye.” said May-So.

“What? I can’t leave R’Jai! He’s my best friend. Can’t he come with me, and be my co-star?” said Dee.

“I’m sorry but, I don’t think his parents will let a10 year old kid live here in Japan and be with a total stranger, and a talking dragon. Think about the fame, the money and the…”

Dee interrupted, “You can’t put a price on friendship.”

“But just think you can finally fulfill your dream.” Said May-so.

“Yeah but…” said Dee.

“Just sleep on it okay.” Said May-so.

“But..” Dee tried to explain.

“Sleep on it!” May-So commanded.

“Okay.” Dee answered.

“I was shocked that Dee would turn down his dream just to be my friend.” I knew what to do.

The next morning…

“Good morning Soy-Ye-Shon.”

May-so asked, “Did you think about it?”

“Yes, and I wo…”

“Wait Dee!” I interrupted them. “I over heard you and May-So talking. I didn’t know it was you’re dream. I’m sorry but I can’t let you pass off this once in a lifetime chance. Do it! It’s not like we can’t still be friends or hang out. If you want I’ll come visit every month. Do it. Do it for me, as my friend.”

“Alright R’Jai if you want me to. May-So…I’ll do it. “Great! I’ll call Uncle Myro tonight, said May-So. “Well, I’ll take R’Jai home and meet you at the studio around 2:00.

“Alright.” May-So said all perky.

“Come R’Jai lets go.”

EURP!!! PUYN!!!

“Well, I guess this is good-bye. Take care said Dee.”

“Don’t worry I’ll be sure to come and see the movie.” I said.

“Bye best pal!” EURP!!!PUYN!!!

“Bye.”

5 years later….

“MOM!!! MAILS!!!HERE!!!” I shouted. “Mail for mom, mail for mom, mail for mom, mail for me? Hum? From your best friend? A check for $20,000. A note

Dear R’Jai,

This is a little show of appreciation from

Your best friend Dee. The movie was a success,

and it will be in theaters on May 24^th

Serena the Magical Fairy

Serena quickly flew home as thunder clashed in the night.

Serena is a fairy from the planet Zanness in the land Rena. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and wears a red dress. Serena always wanted an adventure in another land.

Serena flew into the house and found everything shattered. On the wall, written in blood were the words:

I HAVE YOUR FAMILY. IF YOU EVER WANT TO

SEE THEM AGAIN, BRING ME THE MAGIC NECLACE!

This must have been the work of the immoral witch, Agger. “She always writes her messages in blood.” Serena thought. She wanted the necklace on Serena because it has power that can destroy the world.

Serena sobbed and sobbed. Some of her tears got on the necklace, and it started to glimmer. Suddenly, a portal appeared. The portal was round and had many colors. Serena was stunned, and she stood still. Soon, she slowly walked through the portal.

On the other side, was an elegant land with flowers everywhere you look, and everything was colorful. On a sign read “The Land of Zors.”

“Hello, is anyone here?” asked Serena. Suddenly, five bizarre creatures that were half pig, and half rabbit appeared. Serena was terrified. Then, the queen of these creatures appeared. She looked quite different from the other animals. She had brown hair, blue eyes, wings, wore a gold crown, and a long silver dress.

“I am the queen of these creatures called the Danner. Who are you?” she asked.

“I am Serena from the land Rena.” Replied Serena.

“Do not be frightened. You are in The Land of Zors.” the queen said.

“Zors! Is this the land where the immoral witch, Agger lives?” asked Serena.

“Oh, yes, in deed, she is in the North in the land of the Broders.” Replied the queen.

“Do you have a map that I can borrow?” Serena asked.

“Certainly.” Answered the queen. Suddenly, a map appeared, and she gave it to Serena.

Serena started walking through the forest beside the land. In the forest, Serena saw lions, tigers, and bears asleep so she walked quickly and quietly through the forest. After passing the forest, Serena came across a stream that was too extensive to cross. Then, Serena saw a girl sitting on a rock in the center of the stream. The girl had blue hair, blue eyes, and wore a blue dress.

“Excuse me. Can you help me?” asked Serena. The girl said nothing and started to swim to Serena.

“Hi, my name is Aqua. I’m the Goddess of water. Did you ask for some help?” asked Aqua.

“Yes, I am trying to get across the stream.” Replied Serena.

“I think I can help.” Said Aqua. Then, she started to whistle, and a whale appeared. “Climb on the whale, and he’ll take you to the other side.” Said Aqua. Serena climbed on the whale, and it carried them across the stream.

When they got across, Serena saw a large volcano next to the stream. Then, they saw a girl come out of the volcano. She had red hair and a red dress. She also looked exactly like Aqua. “Oh, I almost forgot. This is my twin sister, Ember.” Said Aqua. After that, Serena told them her story. “We decided to join you on your journey for the witch has stolen both of our powers.”

“I would love to have both of you with me on my journey.” Said Serena. After that, everyone followed the map and went past the mountains. Then, they saw a sign that was in front of a jungle. It read: “The Prehistoric Jungle.”

Serena said, “The map said that we must go past the prehistoric jungle before reaching the land of the Broders. The jungle is green, dark, and damp.” Then, they went in and saw a dinosaur in front of them!

“Ahh!” everybody screamed.

“It’s okay, don’t scream. My name is Rex. I’m a nice dinosaur.” Said the dinosaur. He was huge, had sharp teeth, and was green. Rex was a nice dinosaur, and again they told him their story. Rex also wanted to join the journey for the witch had killed his father. It took several days to get out of the jungle.

Finally, they reached the land of the Broders where the witch lived. The land was tranquil. There wasn’t even a single person. So, they headed for the castle. The castle was gloomy, black, and was covered with sharp objects. They walked past the gate and into the castle. They were wondering why there are not guards. As Serena and her friends were walking, they fell into a trapdoor and into a dungeon. There Serena saw her family. “Mom, dad, are you alright?”asked Serena.

“We’re fine, but we need to get out of here.” Her mother replied. Suddenly, the witch came in. She was disgusting. She had green skin, and she wore all black. The witch used her magic to freeze them. Then, she threw them in a corner. “I see you have come to rescue your family, my pretty. Give me the necklace, and I’ll let your family go.” Said the witch.

“Don’t do it Serena!” yelled her mother. Serena ignored her and gave the witch the necklace. She took it without saying anything.

“You fool! You really think I’d let them go?” said the witch. She blew her whistle, and a pack of hungry spiders came toward Serena’s family.

“No!” Serena cried. Her tears dropped to the ground. Then, the necklace started to glow again. A bright light came toward the witch and destroyed her and the spiders too. Serena and her friends untied Serena’s family. Aqua and Ember found their powers in a crystal ball. Everyone was happy.

Serena’s mom said, “I wish we could go home.” Then, another portal appeared, and they went through. Before they knew it, they were home. Serena was happy to have everything back to normal.

She learned that no matter how great an adventure is, it is always better to be home with the people you love.

The Spell Has Been Broken

“My name is Breana, and don’t wear it out!” said the little girl. Breana is a fifth grader. No one likes her, but she doesn’t care. Yes, she is mean. She throws paper balls in her classroom, and she sometimes has food fights in the cafeteria. When she gets in trouble, she just says, “So what!”

She lives in New York City, The Big Orange. New York City is called the bright orange city because it has orange street lights for miles. She doesn’t know why she lives in New York City. She never feels bright and shiny or orange.

Friday was the worst day Breana ever had. At school that day her teacher, Mrs. Givework gave her fifteen pages for homework. Her best friend, Heven moved away to Memphis. All day long, every time she sharpened her pencil, it broke. “What can happen next?” Breana said to herself.

When the school bell rang, she ran home. As she opened their house door, her mother yelled out,

“I hope you know it is your day to wash the dishes, clean the bathroom, mop the floor, cook dinner, mow the back yard, and front yard, and pick the weeds out of the flower garden.

“What!” Breana said. “I had a hard day, and I can’t take it anymore!” So she stormed up the stairs briskly and slammed her door?” She fell on her bed and started dreaming and went to sleep in a deep, deep, deep, deep sleep.

As Breana was dreaming, she felt like she fell from the sky. Then, she landed on a bright orange magical wand in the land of Brightland in the part of the East where there is a castle.

On the wand there was a note saying:

If anyone touches this wand it will not come off your hand until you complete the wands quest.

Breana said, “I don’t want this wand and she tried to shake it off, but the wand was stuck on her hand.

The wand began to sing, and it said, “Your quest has begun. Help three animals solve their problems here in Brightland. Then take me back to Brightland castle, and place me on the orange throne. Then, I will let you go back home.

Breana said, “Why is this land called Brightland when it is very dark and dull?”

The wand said, “The evil destroyer, the Dull King from Ozoneland (Oz) cast a spell on the city and made everything and everyone dull and dark. At the same time, I cast a spell that someone would come to save us and make the land bright again, and then you dropped from the sky.” Breana is mean, and she can’t see herself saving anyone or going on a quest to help animals.

“I want to go home!” said Breana.

The wand said, “Well, you cannot go home until you do what you know is right.

She said, “Okay, but I don’t see anyone to help.”

The wand said, “You must follow the dark black railroad, and you will find animals to help.”

Breana started walking. She walked and walked. She began to get meaner and meaner and meaner until, she came upon a big mouse standing in the middle of the black railroad and it looked very sad. Breana stopped and said, “What is wrong with you? Why are you blocking my way? Get out of my way!”

The mouse cried and said, “I can’t.”

“Why not?” said Breana.

“I can’t see, and I cannot find my way.” said the mouse.

Breana said, “You are very sad. I want to help.”

The mouse said, “I need a candycane to help me walk.” The mouse asked Breana, “How can I find one?”

Breana told the mouse she was going to the Castle of Brightland to return the magical orange wand to the Empress Jessica. “Why don’t you come with me, and she will give you what you need. I can show the way.” The mouse and Breana walked together.

A half mile later, there was a snake that had no body. It only had a head. He said, “I need a body so I can sssslither around and be happy.”

Breana and the mouse said, “We are too scared to help you because if we help you, you will eat us. “

The snake said, “I promise I will not bite you.” So, the mouse and Breana told the snake where they were going. “Maybe the Empress will help you.” said Breana. So the mouse, the snake, and Breana walked together on their way to Brightland Castle.

A few minutes later, there was something rolling across on the railroad track. It was screaming, saying, “Help me! I can’t stop because I have no legs. I am a grasshopper.” The mouse and Breana held the snake as a rope and stopped the grasshopper.

“How did you get that way?” the mouse asked.

The grasshopper said, “Well the dark, dull king is evil. He used my pretty green legs for the magic spell that turned Brightland into a dull and dark land. I had to do it because if I didn’t, he would turn my family into blueberries. Blueberries are my favorite thing to eat. So, I told the evil king to take my legs. Then, I rolled away to find help, and I found you guys.”

Breana and the snake told the grasshopper where they were going. “Maybe you could get help too.” Said the snake.

So, all of the animals and Breana walked to the castle. All of a sudden, the big, evil, dull king from Oz jumped out from behind a gigantic marsh mellow and said, “I know where you are going, but I have kidnapped Jessica the empress. She cannot help you! I have taken her to Marsh-mellow planet, and I have her under a spell. She is eating fat marsh mellows, and she won’t stop until I say so. She is getting fatter by the minute. At 7:00 she will explode! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! What are you going to do about that?”

“We’re going to stop you, and rescue Jessica!” said Breana. Breana, the grasshopper, and the snake got together and said, “We have the magic wand, and we can turn him into a balloon muffin and he will explode.”

“If Jessica explodes,” the evil king said, “You can’t turn me into anything!”

Breana said, “Yes, we can!” and she turned him into a ballon muffin and he floated into space where ballons will eat him.

After they killed him, they took a magic muffin to Jessica on Marsh mellow planet. When they got there, Jessica was as big as an elephant! So, they took the magic wand and changed her back into a pretty Empress.

Then, they flew back to Brightland, and took the wand and put it on the thrown. Jessica sat beside it, and the spell that the evil king put on the land was broken and Brightland became bright again. Jessica said, “Since you saved me and Brightland, I will grant everyone one wish.” The snake wished he had a body, the grasshopper wished he had legs, and the mouse wished she could see or have a candycane to walk with. Jessica asked Breana what she wanted and what did she learn.

Breana said, “The more kindness I showed others, the nicer I became.” She was no longer mean. “And my wish is to go home and make better days instead of bad days.”

Jessica gave Breana the wand and said, “Twirl it five times, and eat a muffin, and you will go back home.” When she did that, she found herself lying in her bed, and lying beside her was the magic orange wand. There was a note that said:

Keep this wand to remind you to make better decisions and to make better days.

“Eerrr!” Uncle Bob was making a rabbit cage for Sitch. Lilo was sitting down beside Aunt Heather. It was 99 degrees Fahrenheit, and everybody was sweating, even Sitch.

Their house is in Hawaii. Lilo is seven years old and she is Hawaiian. Sitch is a little bunny who is so sweet. “A cyclone with its powerful winds is heading toward us.” yelled Uncle Bob.

“Lilo come to the cyclone cellar now!” screamed Aunt Heather.

“I’m coming Aunt Heather, but first I need to get Sitch.” Cried Lilo. Sitch, Sitch! Get your butt over here.” shouted Lilo. Right when Lilo got him in the kitchen, the house floated away. They were spinning around like if they were the cyclone. Everything stopped moving, and suddenly a loud KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Then, they both got out of the house and saw a colorful and beautiful place. Lilo saw an angel that was Mexican, and she cam from Mexico. She saw the angel in front of her saying, “You killed the Devil of the East.”

“I’m sorry for killing her.” Lilo saw some little hammer head men. They were about 1 yard tall. They were named hammer heads because they had a hammer for a head. Their heads were as wide as a hippo. They were so colorful. They were bowing at her for her favor.

“Where am I?” said Lilo.

“Well, you’re on Planet X my dear.” said the Angel of the North.

“Planet X is in a galaxy called Ducky Dive Del. It has fifteen planets.” said an old man. He looked like he was 150 years old.

Lilo said, “I want to go home with my Aunt and Uncle.”

“Where do you live?” asked the Angel of the North.

“In Hawaii, duh.” said Lilo. I forgot to mention that Lilo might be very grumpy sometimes.

“Well, there is a powerful pig that can send you to Hawaii. First, you need to wear these golden slippers. Then, you need to follow the red brick road. Last, you’ll be at The Land of Money. I need to give you a kiss on your forehead.” said the Angel.

“Do you have to?” said Lilo.

“Yes.” said the Angel.

“Okay.” said Lilo in an angry voice. “I will start tomorrow.” said Lilo. Lilo started at 5:00AM. She went walking down the red brick road. Suddenly, she saw three people made of paper. They were hanging like a piñata from a tree. “Why is you staring at us. Get us down you little squirt.” said the adult made of paper.

“You should respect me. I am the one who killed the Devil of the East.” said Lilo.

“I’m sorry, you little squirt.” he said.

“What’s your name?” asked Lilo.

“My name is Billy the Paperman.” said Billy the Paperman.

“I’m Papercut.” said Papercut.

“I’m Paper shy.” said Paper shy in a shyly voice.

“Well, I’m Lilo.” said Lilo.

Billy the paperman is tall and brave. He doesn’t have hair on his head. Papecut is a tall girl. She is a teenager and has hair on her head. Paper Shy is a very shy girl that has hair on her head. Paper Shy is a six year old girl. “Ya, look kind of dumb. Do ya need a brain?” said Lilo.

“Of course we do!” said the three of them.

“Would you like to go to the wonderful Piggy? He is going to take me back home to Hawaii.” said Lilo. “You think he could give us brains?” they said.

“Yes!” said Lilo. Lilo got them off and headed to The Land of Money.

Suddenly, they saw the Evil Kit Kats heading toward them. Evil Kit Kats are evil chocolate. They were made of chocolate, and they are small and brown. “What do we do?” screamed Lilo.

“Let me guess…. Eat them?” said Paper Shy.
“Duh!” said Lilo.

“Let’s attack!” they said.

Right when they finished, they saw Killing Kissables and Evil Indians. All of them got a stick beside the red brick road. They attacked the evil villains and destroyed them.

They saw a shiny robot. They all asked, “What is your name?”

“Well, my name is Mega man. What is your name?” asked Mega man.

“My name is Lilo.” said Lilo.

“My name is Paper Shy.” said Paper Shy.

“My name is Papercut.” said Papercut.

“My name is Billy the paperman.” said Billy the paperman.

“I would love to say something nice about ya, but I don’t have a heart.” said Mega Man.

“That’s okay. Don’t worry. Who cares.” said Lilo.

“Mega Man, want to go to the wonderful Piggy?”said Paper Cut.

“Sure.” said Mega Man. They all start walking down the red brick road.

They made it to a fifty yard long bridge. At the bottom was a shark filled river. The sharks could jump up to 40 yards, which was bad for Lilo and her friends.

“It’s my turn. Sitch attack with frat power.” said Lilo.

“Shr.” said Sitch. They started walking safely through the bridge they heard a cheetah crying.

“Whi, whi, whi.” cried the cheetah. “I am the cowardly cheetah.” said the Cowardly Cheetah.

“Hi, I’m Lilo and these are my friends Paper Shy, Papercut, Billy the paperman, and Mega Man.” said Lilo.

“You look kind of scared.” said Paper cut.

“I need courage.” whispered the Cowardly cheetah.

“I think the wonderful Piggy will help you.” said Papercut.

“That’s a great idea.” said Lilo.

They started walking down the red brick road. The Devil of the west sent evil midgets and warriors to destroy them, but Mega Man cut them in half.

They started walking again. Suddenly, they saw the Land of Money. It was made of bricks, and it was covered with money. They started running furiously to it. They saw a mouse soldier. “We would love to see Piggy.” said Lilo.

“No!” said the Mouse Soldier.

“Look, I have the golden slippers.” said Lilo.

“Okay!” said the Solider. Before they went in, the soldier went to ask Piggy, if they could come in.

“Oink, Yes.” said Piggy.

“Okay.” said the mouse soldier. Piggy was pink, had a big nose, and a twisted tail. They went in a gigantic room, and it was 500 yards tall.

“Who are you, and why do you fear me?” he said in a deep voice.

“Sitch and I need to get home, and the paper family needs a brain, and the cheetah needs courage.” said Lilo.

“Ha, ha, ha.” laughed Piggy. “Take this!” said Piggy.

“No!” they all said.

They all died from his lasers.

Lilo didn’t get home, the paper family didn’t get a brain, and the cowardly cheetah didn’t get courage.

“Thank the Lord it was only a dream.” Said Lilo.

Lesson: Never get close to a pig!

My Magic Kite Story

Hello, my name is Destiny Bridgeforth. I was on my way to WAL MART to buy me a kite. The kite was a Bratz kite with purple wings.

When I bought the kite, the man who was at the register said, “If you waste any liquid on the kite it will blow up.’’ I thought that was strange. I’d never heard of a kite blowing up. I left out of WAL MART with my kite.

I was walking home, and it started to rain. So, I took off my jacket, and wrapped it around my kite. I did not want my kite to blow up like the man said. When I made it home, I was soaking wet, just like if I were a fish swimming in cold water.

The next day, I went outside to fly my Bratz kite. When I flew my kite, it went in the sky it started to sing. Everybody thought it was magic. I said, “Okay I guess it’s magic.”

While flying my kite, I saw other kites in the air. The wind was blowing hard, but my kite was doing well. I went next door to my neighbors’ house and asked them if they wanted to fly kites. They said yes, so we all started to fly kites.

It was so fun, and that was all we did that day. Then, it got dark and we went to bed. What a great day! “Wow! It didn’t blow up!” I said to myself.

So the next day, I woke up and my kite was missing. I searched all over for it. Then my mom came down stairs, and I told her I that my kite was missing. She helped me look for it. My mom found the kite, and she laid it on the ground. I went to get some Kool-Aid, and it spilled on the kite. The kite blew up just like the man said it would. I was so sad. I cried all day long.

I told my mom that I wanted to have a funeral for my Bratz kite. She let me have a small funeral for my kite. That was a sad day. I wanted the kite to live. Womp! Womp! Womp!

Magic Kite

I wanted a kite since I was little so I ask my mom. “Please Mom!”

“No!’ she shouted. Then one day I found a kite at the park. I took it to a store and came back saying that it had powers. It was a dragon kite with four wings. It had lots of powers like transporting and flying super fast. It could talk to me too. It wanted to go to his homeland in Japan. I didn’t tell my mom, because she would throw it away.

I was a student at Brewster Elementary School. I was a smart little boy and got good grades. Then, my mom said instead of a kite I could go to Japan, since I got good grades. I accepted! My kite was so happy. He made my room look like a king’s room before we left.

On the trip I took my brother, Erick, with me in case I got in trouble. On the way back we got stuck in a storm. Then, our plane was going to crash, but luckily my kite saved us. I made my brother promise to not tell our mom about the kite.

When we got home it did not have it powers any more. Then everyone was sad, because with out his powers he would turn into a normal kite. The last thing he said to me was, “Remember me!”

Then three days later the kite came back. He said, your sadness brought me back. After that day, have been extra protective of my kite. If someone touched it I would turn into an animal. Then my kite got tired of me protecting it all the time so it ran away.

The next day I couldn’t find my kite. Then, I went looking for it. I thought I saw it everywhere. The last place I checked was the store. I went to my house, and saw a letter. It was from my kite. It said I’m going to my homeland. I never saw him again.

Each night I dreamed about the kite and all the fun we had. I missed it a lot. Every time someone flew a kite, it reminded me of my kite. “How about I buy you a new one.” said my brother.

“I can’t replace it with another kite.” I told him. Ever since I have never forgot it.

What’s up? My name is Roddrecus. I am a fresh boy. I wear fresh clothes. I am smart, and I have lots of friends. My parents are nice. They let me and my cousin go to the park one day. When we got there, I found a blue and black kite.

I took it home. When I got home my mom had made me some bacon. I dropped a piece of bacon on the kite. Suddenly, it came to life! I looked on the back of its head. It had a Chinese symbol on the back.

It started flying, blowing fire, and it could talk. It told me that it wanted to go to a kite festival in china. My kite flew us there. We went to the festival. Then, when we were flying back, it was raining. My kite started to go to the ground.

It wouldn’t talk or blow fire. It wouldn’t do anything. I tried to give it some more bacon, but it didn’t work. Its powers were gone. All I could hear was lighting and thunder. Boom! Boom! Boom!

At the end I finally found a name for it the brave dragon. I didn’t have a way home. I realized that I had my cell phone and I called my mom. She had to come all the way to China to pick me up. Boy was she angry!
